A Slice of Excellence.
A stunning display of perfection, to match you… How do you choose that?
Naked cake, cheese, decorated sponge, iced fruit cake. Which takes your fancy, or a little of each?
It is traditional to have more than one cake at your wedding, so a tiered cake. You can have a fruit cake as one of the cakes made, to keep. Later you can take the icing off, to then be used for a christening cake for your first born, for when you start a family.
How do you keep everyone sweet?!.. Do you need to please everyone? No you do not, don’t even try because you will never please everyone. It is your wedding day as a married couple, starting out life together on a new path. Just you two now, so start as you mean to go on..
Choose what you want, what you fancy. What you have seen in magazines, in images, in a shop window. Be creative, be different. Use a theme, something you both enjoy. Make it the theme of your day, whether it is the colour, the theme, the story of you two as a couple becoming one…
Ours was a story, it worked perfectly
When we were first dating, we used to meet in Costa coffee places around the area….
So for our Wedding cakes there was no other choice, for the cake to be made.
Celebration Cakes by Catherine Scott, was our only choice of cake supplier.
Over the past 7 years of trading with Always Chauffeur wedding cars, I think we have tasted every flavour Catherine offers, (trust me there are many), How to choose, no idea, but we did.. Catherine holds tasting evenings at her kitchen/studio, so you can go along and taste as many different cakes as you like..
Cherry bakewell & vanilla. Oh my days they were amazing.
WE highly recommend Catherine for any cakes that you need. We were even sent pictures of what we would be having with measurements etc., so we could approve it, and know how big the table to display them on needed to be. The colour scheme matched as well, combining the day wonderfully.
Thank you Catherine, Robin, and the team.
